Found outside of Outback

I was minding my own business...stopped by Outback to pick up a bloomin onion for my dad and I see this tiny baby kitten running around. He was chasing people's feet. I felt so bad when I saw some lady kick it away from her. There were cars everywhere and I just kept thinking that this little baby is going to get run over. So what do I do?!?!? You guessed it...I picked it up and took him home. My fiance feel in love with it BUT Rookie wants to eat it. We left him in the garage with food and water all day and night and he just hung out and played. I checked on him this morning before work and he comes running up to me as if to say "good morning!". I am torn because he has the sweetest personality but Rookie (along with the neighbor dogs) want to have him for lunch. Does anyone know of anybody that wants a precious baby kitten in the North Carolina area? Thanks!

Oh, roni! He sounds fantasticly sweet. I am glad you picked him up, I can't believe some heartless woman would kick him away. That is horrible.

I wish you could keep him.

or a rescue org. i have a woman in my town that advertises: before u take your pet to the pound please call me...will take in any kind, any breed, any age, any size..isnt tat sweet? maybe u can find someone or an org. like that..or maybe someone in ur family??? the army wont allow more than 3 pets here, if i could have more, believe me, id come to Nc and get it...but with my bird, i already have 3 i always wonder if my purpose in life is rescuing pets. once we leave the army, id like to somehow open a no kill shelter

AAww, we tried to do that once with a litter of kittens in the Walmart parking lot, but the lil boogers were wild and we couldn't catch them! Hope he finds a good home soon. Sounds very sweet. What a mean lady, to kick at a lil kitty!

This little guy is black and white (his paws are white). He is probably about 5 weeks old (I am guessing). I am going to try to upload a picture of him. I have named him Nike because he seems to like to sleep in the Nike shoe box in the garage. We bought a litter box complete with the kitty litter for him and as soon as I put him in it he dug around and then pooped HUGE! Poor thing...he must have been holding it. I would love to keep him but Rookie is so jealous. When I come in from the garage he will smell me and then go lay down and stare at the wall. I must put him first but I will find little Nike a good home. Let me try and upload some pics. I'll let you know when they are up.

Just be careful of who you give the kitten to....I was told by our humane society that cats are use for training dogs with dog fights. So if you take her to that lady who takes in cats, check her out first. See what her conditions are at her home if she is keeping them.
I found a small kitten years ago, I didnt want a cat at all. But I kept him anyway and he turned into my main buddy. I dont know that I ever in my life got as attached to any one animal as I did him.

Hmmm . . . Roni, have you noticed that Nike matches Rookie . . . you may have to keep him. Rookie may have to learn to love him, which really isn't all that difficult.

The kitty sounds adorable!!! If I lived up NC I would take him for you but I live in GA and my mom don't want another cat, and I think our 3 year old male cat would hurt him. I hope you find a good home for the kitty!!!!! And that lady that kicked the kitty should b kicked, to see what it feels like!!! How mean of her!
