Maxy, I've thought it over long and hard about removing them, before coming to the conclusion to plan to do it. The only reason I want to know if they are cancerous is because if we remove the tumor, we may get the entire thing out before the cancer has a chance to spread.

Oh I get it, my dad has had two melanomas removed and they got it all so no need for anything else like chemo. We get stuff hacked off all the time just in case.

Fluffyzoocrew,
sorry to hear the old guy is having so many problems.
My Old guy had to have a 5 lb fatty tumor removed when he was 12.
My vet was the greatest too. it has never been about money with him.
when I had to have him put down at 14 he came to my house an charged me nothing.
Hope all turns out well with the old guy an I am glad he found you.

Aw poor Frankie. {{vibes}} that they are benign.

When I worked at the grooming place as a receptionist, I knew a cocker spaniel that was just covered in this little fatty tumors everywhere. They didn't bother her, and she lived for quite a long time. It sure made shaving her down a chore for the poor groomer, though.

Are you sure they aren't fatty tumors? Most old dogs get them and they are harmless.
No idea, we haven't had them biopsied yet. The one's next to Frankie's penis are not soft or mushy like typical fatty tumors. They are pretty hard, which is a big reason, along with the location, the vet wants them removed and biopsied.

Pretty sure you accused me of this one time too. Don't read so much into things, lol. She wasn't copping an attitude.
I think you accussed a member of this forum of wanting their child to get brain cancer and I pointed out it was inappropiate, not the same thing at all... that thread should remain where it is anyway.

I'm starting to get a little irked, because you accuse me of having an attitude, which I don't, yet you seem to always nitpick anything I say in posts.

I mention in one thread about the cost of Frankie's surgery, and if I want to put him thru it, and you reply that if I couldn't afford it, I shouldn't have him. Which was not only rude, but false as well.

You nitpick a dog food thread over what I feed, and start accusing me of being judgemental over a completely different topic.

You accuse me of thinking I am a better dog owner simply because I have my property fenced in, and because of my choices in adopting out *my* foster dogs.

And the list goes on.

Get off my back.

And that's all I have to say about this. This thread isn't for you to hijack or nitpick. It's about Frankie, my concerns, and his health care.

I didnt hijack this thread... someone else did.

You are putting entire threads on me, when I was not the only one stating an opinion and not the first one to state them.

I am not on your back... you are the one constantly judging who should have pets and who shouldnt NOT ME.

Edit: and I never said you shouldnt have Frankie. YOU said there was NO WAY you were keeping him and I offered the advice that maybe you should think about having his new home take on some of these costs... or seeing if you were going to find a new home before you put all the money into him... your the one who made it seem like him staying with you was not even an option. I asked in that threads what your plans for him were because it looked like he may be with you longer than you were thinking.
