Pumpkin (the kind in a can) and normal yogurt helps, right?

I gave Rocky some precription food; Science Diet i/d.

It helped last time but it took a while. Any other ideas?

usually pumpkin added to the regular food does the trick within a few hours. you don't need a whole lot, 1-2 heaping teaspoons per meal are usually enough already. however, it's not something that works on all dogs, if it doesn't, mashed banana is another option.

yogurt is good, especially if it has live cultures, but don't give too much.

i wouldn't feed any science diet products, they are just artificial crap with lots of chemicals. if a dog really has a bad digestive upset, a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice is good.

I always keep slippery elm bark and dandelion root around for diarrhea. Works like a charm for my dogs:)

I use boiled chicken and plain cooked oatmeal. He loves it. The problem I then have is reintroducing the dog food.

Best thing to do is to withhold food for 12 hours after the initial onset of diarrhea. Continue to offer water. After the 12 hours start out with small meals of boiled chicken and rice. Slowly re-introduce kibble over the next 48 hrs. This is what we recommened at the vet clinic and it worked like a charm everytime.
