Who here uses a dehydrator to make snacks and treats for their dog (or yourself)? What do you put in it? How long does it go in for?

I’m really thinking of getting one so that I can veer away from store bought biscuits and feed dehydrated meats and veggies (can you put fish in it?). How long do dehydrated meats/veggies keep for?

Any tips or comments? Sorry for all the questions, thank you!!

Yep. Haven't done it in awhile, but I'll put fruits and meats. I don't make any kind of mix, I just slice the fruit or meat and dehydrate it until... it's dehydrated. :)

i've thought of doing this myself. my dog will only eat real meat treats since switching to a raw diet. there's an overpriced doggie boutique down the st. from me that sells dehydrated meats for $1.75 - $2.75 an ounce...too pricey but the dogs love it.

let us know if you buy a dehydrator, and how it works out.
