Flyball practice with Vendetta.

I will be starting beginning flyball with Vendetta on June 1st. This last monday team flyball was practicing and i asked if I could bring Vendetta as I wanted help with her swimmers turn ( I have been working on flyball at home this last month). She did about 7 good turns and brought me the ball every time too.

so we were sitting there watching the other team dogs and Vendetta watched them do every run very attentive. I asked if she could do a run. The instructure didn't want me to do a whole run she believes in backward chaining but I said I just want to see what she will do. If she runs she runs if she doesn't do then I know what I have to work on. Tracy didn't even stay around to watch she was mad at me. Well I sent my baby girl down to the box she did every jump she said HI to my son ( box loader) and turned around and came back over the jumps. I had moved up so there was one jump behind me. I turned pointed at the jump and said Jump Vendetta! and she did

I was so darn poud of my girl!!

Yes she is a great girl. I'm so darn proud of her. I just started looking into CPE. I want to get her registered and then we will work our butts off over the year so next summer she will be of age to compete. YEA!!


I will see if someone can do a video of her doing flyball. We start beginning classes on Monday!!

I'd love to see a video as well. Flyball has always looked like fun and I've gone to numerous trials and know quite a few of the popular flyball dogs in this area. My favorite flyball dog to watch around here is Riot. I got to run him once during a practice when his owner was introducing me to the sport. Anyways... I can't do flyball with Bamm because of his dog reactivity, but I love to live vicariously through other people's flyball experiences so do keep us updated.
