How very special !!! Bet you can't wait to get her home !!! My females were always leery of young pups ! I think they always thought " What am I supposed to do with that ! " My males would play , then pass them off to me ! Sound familiar ?

    I love her!
I love the pics of the 2 Danes together.

    Is Lyra deaf?
    Is Cheza deaf and/or blind?
If I understand right, white danes can be blind and/or deaf, right?

Lyra is completely deaf. You could scream in her ear and she wouldn't even look at you.

Cheza on the other hand, who's much less heavily marked, is neither blind nor deaf, in fact both senses are excellent. Not that I'm complaining it's just unusual for a dog marked like that to be alright.

White danes can be either, depending on whether there's pigment surrounding the offending organ. Lyra must not have any on the inside of her ears, but she has plenty around her eyes.

I had a grin at this, Cheza and "calm and relaxed" are about as far apart as here and the moon :D Appearances can be decieving though! She was being very lazy that day.
