One of the best things you can do for yourself and him is to keep him with you as much as possible, and talk to him, even if it's just a running commentary on what you're doing. It may not make sense to him now, but the more you communicate with him, the more tuned in to you he will become. That's important with any dog, but much more critical with a wolf/dog. Do that, and you'll realize one day that he's so tuned in to you that he picks up on what you want before you even tell him. Bimmer constantly amazes me with that ability - among other things
