Well, I promised you all with plenty of photos so here goes. She is a dream and I am so glad that we chose this breed! I love her to pieces already. These are just some fun pics that I snapped outside while we took a potty break. It has been wet and yucky but that doesn't stop her from playing in the grass

Her proud to be a puppy face!

Her close ups!

She loves sticks

Ohh, she's adorable! She's going to be quite the handful too when she gets older!

Where did you get her from?

She is a mess already! I purchased her from a small breeder out of Smithville Texas. The Dam is out of Las Rocosa I can't find any info on the Sire...Somercrest. She is a great girl. She isn't going to be a working girl but I am looking into agility and possible Ob. Any tips?

Look into your local chapter of ASCA or AKC for trainers and just start talking to everyone you know. Your vet might be able to point out some people to you; ask your breeder as well, since they should have been involved in some sport anyway. If the people they go to aren't close, I still bet they'll know people, or know people who know people.

Aussies can be stubborn, but it's usually because they like to be 'involved' in their training and need to have a good reason as to why they should do it your way instead of theirs. Positive methods work the best; praise and petting can be just as big of a motivator to these guys as steak. They just want to know what to do!
