So last night I went to my first "major league" baseball game... and had a friggin blast. I was screaming, booing, cheering... yes, I think I like sporting events haha. Went with my friend, her dad nad brother. They want me to go to hockey games with them... they say I will fit in just perfectly with all the other hockey crazed fans haha.

Anyways, its was the Rangers vs. Angels, and we gave em a good run for thier money, but lost 15 to 13. We had a impressive 3rd inning, they were ahead, 5-0, and by the 4th, we led with 9 to 7. Very impressive. One of our guys even broke his bat... classic.

Here are a couple pics, the seats werent amazing, but they were still great. I cant wait to go back haha.

Hehe sporting events are fun. I can't get into baseball much though... 9 innings is just too long. But they are fun to go to and I love when you end up sitting next to the really die-hard fans who always have their 2 cents to throw in. :lol-sign:

And yes, it does sound like you'd fit in VERY well with the hockey fans lol. Especially with the constant up and down action, there's pretty much always something to yell and scream about :p

Teehee I only go to two Dallas Stars games a year...when my RED WINGS are in town....so maybe I'll see you at one of those. We Wings fans always cheer louder than the Stars fans...;)

One thing I have noticed is that Dallas fans in any sport are too polite...it keeps them from really getting into the realm of well, rabidly dedicated. It must be the Southern influence I suppose.

I certainly don't mind polite, since I am typically in enemy attire but...once you've been to places like Cleveland or Oakland, you kinda have a different idea of what it means to be a "rabid fan" those people would literally bleed for their teams and make others bleed too HAHAHA!

BTW we used to live walking distance to the Ballpark....you could watch fireworks from our front lawn and hear when they hit homeruns...very cool. Probably the best tho was when Dellucci was with the team. His walkup music was that sad opening tune from "the Godfather" the trumpet piece? Very neat on a hot summer night to be outside and kinda just hear that waft over the neighborhood...lol.

I've been to two major league baseball games (Atlanta Braves), and they sure are fun. Your seats look a lot better than mine, though, is that the second tier? We were all the way at the top.

Yup, we were on the second tier. My friend who I went with has friends that work the gates there, so she was able to get some pretty good seats. Althou admittingly, I would of killed to be on the front row HAHA

What I found hilarious was that they acutally do the "kiss cam" you always see in movies that they do it at a ball game, but who knew that they really did it?! haha
