it was a lot of fun. was about 40 minutes long. i've been getting on horses whenever i've had the chance but it hasn't amounted to a lot of knowledge about riding. i knwo the really! basic stuff but i've started proper lessons now.
she just tought me to steer today.

Yahoooo! Good for you! :D

It's an amazing hobby, like nothing else on this earth. I've had my own pony since 3.. Convinced I could ride before I could walk, and in actual fact I do ride better than I walk now... Got a whole bowlegged thing going on! LOL!

And hey, I still get lessons once a week.. No matter what level you reach someone elses perspective is always helpful.. As long as you don't get into a huge punchup about things like Stephen and I do! ;)

lol.
my mums got her first pony at 3. she's been trying to get me a horse since forver but she got me my first rising lesson at 17. lol. the woman is good, she does a lot of dressage. and she show'd us her 2 horses she's training right now, their gorgeous. there these massive big mares that lick her all up her arms and make it so obvious they love her.

i surprised myself, i'm more confident getting on a horse i no nothing about that has a mind of its own than i am getting in a car that will only do as i tell it to. (i'm learning to drive currently as well)

And you're going to be sore tomorrow!! ;)

Hot bath for you tonight! LOL!

I just love the freedom of galloping up grassy hills, when there is noone else around, just you and your horse.. It's perfect. *sigh*.. Right, I think i'm going to saddle up, and go for a ride now! ;)

Have a great time! Horses are my life, they're such wonderful animals. Unfortunately I don't have the pleasure of owning my own :(...I've wanted one since I was three though :D.

Anyways, enjoy it!

Cool. I really want to try to ride a horse again. I haven't ridden since I was like 8 and the horse got spooked and fell on me and then kicked the crap out of me lol. I'm not scared anymore but I don't think pregnant chicks are supposed to ride horses lol so I will have to wait.

glad you had a good time.

Have fun! I always enjoyed lessons, even when my horse was being a brat... Lol! I really miss going out for moonlight trail rides with friends but we'd have to ride down the road here (and probably get run over by some idiot.)

A friend's OB/GYN told her she could ride as long as she could get a foot in the stirrup (I think he knew she was gonna ride anyway.)

Congratulations! It is one of the most pleasant hobbies I can imagine (well, most days;) ).

Makes perfect sense to me! If I told my horse to go flying off a cliff, I know he has the sense to refuse; my truck would just go tumbling down.

LOL I didn't know that I always thought it was "forbidden" BUT with my last experience I don't want to risk it lol.... I don't think horses like me :D
