Sammy's thread brought this one on . . .

So, 'fess up. Tell us about your first date . . . ;)

Mine was, well . . .

I went with a guy who had been waiting for a year for my mom to let me date. We went to an old drive-in theatre that was still operating.

I have NO recollection of what movie was playing, lmao!

My first date... hummm...

Going to the roller rink, to an all night couples skate, eating pizza and letting the dude spoil the heck out of me. I was only 13 but it was still great.

My first date was 'Along Came Polly!' On valentines day 3 years ago (or was it 4). Must have been 4 because I was 12, and the boy 13 because he had to buy the movie tickets... it was PG13. ^^

My first date I was 16 and the boy was 17. He took me to a party at one of his buddy's house.

I spent most of the evening fighting off advances from his friends, while he got drunk  I got a ride home from a girl friend and her date.

Needless to say, THAT was the only date with that bozo ;)

I've never even been on a real date, haha. Now that i think about it, i never had an "offical" boyfriend, either.

Hey, now i kinda want to go on a real date, like have some boy come pick me up and take me somewhere and be all nervous and spend too long getting dressed, etc.

Junior prom--I asked him (he was a senior)---dated for 6 months after that until he "cheated on me" when he went to college. After that, he was referred to as BOZO! LOL!!

My first date was a double date with my best friend and his girlfriend. We went to see So I Married an Axe Murderer and almost got kicked out of the theater because the boys were throwing ice cubes. I think I was about 11.

My first date was with John :) Well, technically we had two "first dates". The first was the night we met in person, his cousin had introduced us online and then his cousin invited me to come to a movie with him and John and another friend. We all went to see Corpse Bride... that was kind of a blind date I guess.

Then John and I had our actual first date a few days later, we went to a little pizza place and then went back to my house and watched movies for a few hours.

My first date, I was 13ish. It was one of the most popular boys in school too. He was really good looking and we went to see a movie. I don't remember which one. But I was so uncomfortable that afterwards his parents wanted to go eat and I just wanted to go home. Apparently I wasn't ready to date. So I told him that and he dumped me! LOL. But hey, I wasn't ready to date.

I was 15, he was 17 and we went to a teen club. (they were popular back then. like a night club except only soft drinks) we went with another couple, and they all knew each other so I sort of just smiled alot. the funniest part to this is.......10 years later my sister got married a second time...to his brother! now that's particularly funny cause my sister's first marriage was to my hubby's brother. (you keeping up? lol) for 4 years it was alot of fun with sisters married to brothers, but not something I'd recommend if they divorce. lol I know...you'd think we never left this little 'circle' of people, but we did..honest. so my now BIL and I have in common the fact that his brother was my first date. kind of odd when we see each other occasionally at family functions. especially since I dumped him for my hubby. :)

LOL talk about awkward my first date was with my best friends new step brother lol. I was actually tricked into the date by my bf because she knew we liked each other. Only later did I find out she wasent too pro on the idea but wanted me to be happy. So I went over to her house thinking she and I were going to the movies when I found out he was coming too. And then she left us alone in the theater. It was bad lol because the movie was Mona Lisa Smile LMAO poor Chris. Then we went back to their house and he and I sat on the couch and watched "Underworld" while she was on the computer. I honestly couldn't tell you much about either movie. And I have to laugh any time either one comes on tv now.

He and I have had this weird on again off again "thing". Weird kind of interest in each other. It was the most awkward nerve wracking date of my life. I literally shook I was so nervous. He still actually makes me really nervous. LMAO

Well..... I'd had 2 boyfriends before I had what I would consider my 1st real date!!!

No scrap that THREE boyfriends.

Obviously we did things together, never a "date" in the strict sense!!!! Where you get to know someone.

Funnily, I got talking to a guy in a club and we'd been talking about dates, and I sai I'd never really been on a proper date.

So, he said "right!" and took me on one!!

We went to the museum and laughed at the displays, then we went to the beach, and got an ice cream, and went bowling.

It was sooooooo nice of him. I remember that to this day!!! Things never happened between us, but I still think about that 'date'.

What a guy!

I dunno, it was just kinda like "wanna go out?" okay, then you just kinda...hung out more often. Formal dating would make me feel awkward I think.

Never really went out on a date with my first bf (not even a serious or 'real' bf, nothing ever happened so I don't even know if he is included lol).

So I guess my first real date would have been about 3 and a half months ago with my boyfriend, we went to see Stardust :).
