Really- if you're repulsed by a discussion of canine anatomy (especially one so inocuous as this), you didn't have to even read the thread. I think the title makes it pretty clear what's being discussed, LOL.
It's no big deal- just a fact of life, and part of being a male of almost *any* species.
At any rate, I think it's an absolute riot.
And as to dogs that KNOW that they're embarrassing us...I'll never forget the time Kimi greeted my new boyfriend (in front of my parents), with a black lace thong clamped firmly inbetween her teeth. My dad loudly announced that Kimi had one of my "eye-patches," and I pretty much almost died.
Good thing the boy liked dogs...sigh...

Just catching up on this thread and I had to chime in.
Loved the story about the black laced thong and the b/f. Hilarious! Glad you had a sense of humor to make it through that one.
Back on topic (b/c that is what we are looking for here right?) My Bailey has been having major issues with his what I call "pencil" lately. Some use the phrase lipstick, some gloss and I use pencil. My little boy is about 20 pounds and very well endowed in my opinion. He gets excited and his pencil will come out and he can't get it go back in and will lick at it a bit. I feel so sorry for him.
I am getting him neutered next Friday and I hope it helps with his humping he has been doing lately. He humps everything and got mad at me last night when I wouldn't let him get up to my dinner plate and started trying to hump my leg for the first time. I couldn't help laughing trying to kick him off of my leg.

LOL, a well endowed dog, thats just so funny to hear!
Oakley isnt too well endowed...maybe that is why he pees like a girl....but he does get boners quite often...he has NEVER humped anything though, thank god...and he isnt a crotch sniffer either...(well, ok, he does seem to be quite obsessed with dog crotches)
maybe his balls were cut off nice and early?

it just isnt quite as fun to refer to erections (hmm, actually, that is kind of a fun word) and testicles, as it it to refer to boners and balls
