The end one was Mom's favorite too. Even more than quack. I don't want to part with quack. More to be made. More like the two end ones apparently.

They are all very special and I like the new 'quack' very much. Also the glaze on the second figure from the left in the second photo is really appealing, like polished jasper and quartz.

How much do these weigh Smkie? I've been thinking about two birds with arched necks that make a heart as a wedding cake topper.

The white/grey one looks like a shy bird looking back at someone. I like it. The black/grey owl is awesome.

The grey one I just finished and it is still leather hard so that is why it is the clay color. I made it out of regular stoneware so it should fire a darker brown than the others. The rest of the owls just haven't been through the raku kiln yet. Thanks for the feedback!

Those are SO cute! I love the little owls the most!

I think they are too heavy for a cake but you can use them as an example and make them out of icing or something like that. They are stone by the time they hard fire and probably weigh close half pound or more each.

note to self..get busy and make more owls.

NOt selling yet. Trying to work up an inventory. Hoping by next year I will be healthy and can do something like the Plaza Art Fair. THis latest medicine to fight my babasia is helping, I am not there yet but it is helping. If I can beat the babasia then I can beat the lyme.
