So in town today they have the firemen/paramedics set up to "Fill THe Boot" for the Jerry Lewis telethon.


Maybe I have been living under a rock for the last 21 years, but I didnt know that the FD and such get in on this telethon???

I always thought you just called in and donated.


Go figure!

I found it annoying last year when I saw them because they were right in the middle of the road. It seemed pretty unsafe

Thats where they were today too! I was like, what are these people doing in the middle of the road, then was told what it was for.

Its for a great cause and all Im sure... but you dont need to be standing in the middle of the street, basically demanding all that pass put some money in the boot. Very annoying and unsafe.

I went a different direction, so didnt acutally have to pass thru the "toll way"

These guys werent even at a stoplight, they were just standing smack dab in the middle of the street. Gut-sy little guys.
