Hi, Folks!
I've been lurking around your site and have really enjoy the conversations, the knowledge, and the grins.
I am the proud owner of a one-year-old Fila named Cane (short for Hurricane). This is our first Fila, and we've drank the koolaid. When we lost our German Shepherd last year to severe hip dysplasia, we started researching Guardian breeds and the Fila sounded perfect for us -- we don't socialize much, almost never have anyone coming to our house, have 1/2 an acre for him to roam, like "couch potato" dogs, and don't object too much to the drooling (although, to be honest, no one can image how frequently they do this until owning one!).
Since Cane is our first Fila, we've hunted far and wide to educate ourselves, but we feel that we can never get enough stories of others and their experiences with the Fila. And, of course, we love pictures!
