Probably not. My poor ferrets have not been taken care of very well lately because I've been so busy with my daughters. Cage and playroom aren't cleaned as often as they should be, and they are getting very little human interaction. I keep telling myself it's going to get better for them soon, as I do love them very much and want to make it work. But they keep getting put on the back burner and it's really not fair to them. I don't want to give them up, and I can't stand the idea of handing them over to a stranger not knowing if they are moving on to a better or worse situation.

I don't know, I'll just have to keep trying to make it better.

I'm pretty close to SA but I can't take any ferrets. :( I'd definately be willing to help transport and even keep them very temporarily, let me know if you need my help.

Thanks Lizzy, but I think we're gonna be okay. I was very frustrated when I posted because the entire house is a mess at the moment and the ferret area just plain stinks. We were all sick for a couple of weeks (RSV) and I ended up just letting everything slide to take care of my girls (and you can imagine how difficult a sick toddler and an infant can be, when you aren't feeling well either).

I've divided up all the chores I need to get done to get the house back in shape and am just doing one thing at a time instead of letting myself get overwhelmed by looking at everything all together. Once I've been able to give the entire room a good scrub down I'm sure I'll be feeling much more optimistic about everything :)
