My mom just brought home her 2 mth old Shih Tzu. She's currently on Performatrin Ultra dry food and she's mixing it with hot water. At what age should she stop mixing it with hot water and just feed the kibble?

The water shouldn't be hot, only about body temperature and the kibble should not soak either. Just pour on the water and serve.

It is much healthier to feed kibble with water than to feed it dry, so there is no need to stop doing that at all.

Sorry I didn't mean that it was hot.. Just warm enough to make the food a tad "mushy".

You can do that forever. Make sure she's getting fed four times a day at her age. She can't go too long between meals yet. She should get about all she wants to eat in about 10 minutes at each feeding. Congratulations on your new pup!
