Demon is a 6 month old Siberian Husky. He weighs about 27 lbs. I'm feeding him Maximum puppy food about 3 cups every night(about 2 cups dry and 1 can soft). He was just neutered. I was wondering if I should switch him to adult dog food as soon as his bag of puppy food was gone. Should he get regular adult food or large breed dog food? I've never had a husky before or a "big" dog for that matter so i'm not sure what or how much I should be feeding him.
I did post this in the health section but no one has replied so I figured someone would see it here.

I would wait to feed him adult food when he is about 10-12 months old.

He is gorgeous though! I made a thread in the dog breeds section about how I had, still have a little bit, of husky fever. Seeing your boy didn't help. :D lol.

I personally don't feed any of my dogs puppy food, or I should say didn't feed them puppy food when they were young enough for it. Today you can find premium foods that are good for any age dog. All life stage foods contain enough nutrients to provide for your pup. You can do a search in the dog food forums here that can help you find a good healthy food. Many people here like Canidae which is an excellent food for your buck. Evo makes great food, so does Orijjen.

BTW, that is a beautiful pup you have there!

Well i've decided to get Canidae. It's not too expensive and a pet supply shop about 30mins away from where i live sells it in 40lbs bags so i'm gonna try it. THANKS.
