Familiar i think not. I joined yesterday hearing how great his forum was but man from what i've seen it's absolutley the worst judgemental, bashing forum i've ever attended. No humanity or morals just plenty of bickering and bashing. when your down in life it's always good to have people jumping on your back to sink you lower than you already feel. But wait i'm the juvenile one, if juvenile means having compassion for a plight then i'm the biggest juvi you've ever met.

You haven't read the other post have you. She can still care for one, she is just not allowed to keep a huge GSD why is that her fault. it's the jump of gun calling her "irresponsible" that is irking, without even being put in her shoes.

Is it irresponsible for her to get a dog when she mentioned having finacial problems as is?

Absolutely.

Especially with a child. If she can barely make ends meat as is the last thing she needs is a dog.

She needs to work on getting herself in a finacially secure situation to take care of her child first before even considering taking on the added expense and responsibility of a pet.

Nobody here knew from the start that is was her ad. If you would read the beginning you would realize that.

Someone surely went out to investigate it and found she was a member here and everyone wanted an explanation didn't they?Well you got one and as usual here it's never good enough. There was only 1 that said to wait before judging and for that i applaud her. People here would see a person shot with a dog beside him and would instantly go see if the dog is ok before the person, that's what i mean my it's not always about the dog and yes i do realise it's a dog forum but where do you draw the line for your fellow man.

well the thread started out as a post about an ad that wanted to sell or trade her "model" in for another one. Kind of like a car. It just so happened to be someone that posted here, and it was found out. Then this person has a history of cycling thru dogs at a pretty rapid rate for whatever reason, I don't really care, her life and her dogs live's have been in a lot of turmoil, and its been one dog after the other. Sorry, but I'm not going to feel a whole lot of compassion when its been said that maybe she needs to get her life together and be more stable. Nothing wrong with that, it happens to everyone at some point. then she comes back with every excuse in the book. Sorry, but dog after dog come and gone and then threatens or actually does give this dog to a horrible, nut job, whacked out so called "breeder" of GSD's who has a history of not only here but other places of being a complete liar with almost zero education of how to or what makes the breed she claims to breed, and i'm quite sure she's a candidate to put a shrinks kids thru college. Sorry, this woman has done nothing lately to earn my respect and if you really aren't her or Heather, maybe you should go where they went

It's too bad that you didn't jump into this thread sooner. You could have offered your own advice on what to do with the shepherd. Try to rehome it with a family, turn it into a shelter for adoption, return it to the original breeder, hand it over to be bred by someone like Heather, trade it for a couple of Chihuahuas....let's hear it. What would your advice have been?

I think if you look up bashing in the dictionnary, chazhound.com would probably be the definition since that's all that happens here. Hell i read a few threads last night to see how it was and i can honestly say there wasn't one that didn't have bashing in it in some shape or form.

I don't know about these things, but I'd bet that the reason we got a nice response and this poster doesn't is because we didn't jsut come on cussing and defending a really irresponsible dog owner... I don't know though. Just guessing.
