She will care for the new smaller dog.
I doubt it. She's already rehomed at least one small dog that I know of (min pin). Possibly two. And I doubt that those dogs were too expensive to feed.

All we're saying is that if her resources are way too tapped out for her to care for a dog (which she's said is the case), than why get another one? Just wait until her life is more stable.

Supposition again!!! perhaps this whole site is based on these. Hell, maybe he's Mark or John, or Debbie or Greta. The POINTis have a little respect for people and what goes on in there lives, it's not ALWAYS about the dog.

Who the hell is Heather?? I'm guessing this is where suppositions come rolling in and the bashing begins right?? Just because someone tells you something private does it mean you can bash them?? Be a compassionate human being not a dog lover for just 2 minutes to put yourself in someone elses shoes.
I wouldn't let myself get into "those" shoes......
I would not let myself get into an income of 400 or 500 a month.... Unless of course I could not physically work.
I almost spend that much in groceries alone. How would I support my family?
Getting another dog would be the least of my worries

So since she is going through a trying time in her life, it is perfectly fine for her to go through many dogs, and just give them to *dubious* homes whenever she gets too stressed by them.

Gotcha.

You'll probably find that on most dog forums, it often IS about the dog. You'll also find that dog people are among some of the most compassionate anywhere.

Oh, and never mind what she's teaching her own child. What, are dogs' disposable to you too? How's that teaching her child compassion?

Well Julie you must understand, perhaps not everyone is like you, people make bad choices it's human not to, you're just better at it than most. I owned a papillon with 700/month and that dog lived like a king reg. vet checkups, the whole nine yards it was absolutley difficult to keep her but she was all i had and she kept me grounded and sane so why can't that be the case here??

Saying that its not about the dog on a dog forum makes zero sense.

She originally said she needed to place the dog because of its size.

In latter posts she mentioned she had financial trouble..she was told that getting a new dog may not be the best choice considering her circumstances.

Because someone does not like what they are told does not mean the advice is not good, correct, and true.

Sometimes a little too compassionate especially when they are put ahead of everything else. She never asked for any of your opinions, you went and got an ad and deliberatly posted it here, and you all knew where that was gonna go.

You **** well know people don't just tell someone there opinion here, they cram there dog belief down your throat till you gag on it, perhaps the delivery of the message needs work. Hell i even found numerous posts with people making fun of an individuals spelling .

When you choose to put any information out there for anyone to view it is to be expected you will get opinions.

The canine community is a close knit one if that ad was not posted here it would only be a matter of time before it would be found.

Yes, people make bad choices. But when people make bad choices over and over again, they are to blame.
If I was living in low housing income and all I had was 400$ a month, you can bet you and mine butt that I would put the 1800$ into my account to save up to get myself out of there- not trade the dog in with another one or two!
I will leave the fact that she has to rehome her dog out of it, the fact is that there is NO need for her to get a new dog, that is absolutely ridiculous.
It shows how irresponsible she is, not only in regarding her dog, but also her child.

Nobody here knew from the start that is was her ad. If you would read the beginning you would realize that.

You haven't read the other post have you. She can still care for one, she is just not allowed to keep a huge GSD why is that her fault. it's the jump of gun calling her "irresponsible" that is irking, without even being put in her shoes.

So lets see we are supposed to sugar coat things to make irresponsible pet owners, breeders, ect...feel better about themselves because they don't like the delivery of the message?

I don't think so.

How about the post where she wanted 2 intact Chihuahuas? How's that cheaper, and intact dogs?? Humm...bit fishy to me. But I'm sure YOU'll have an excuse for that too, don't you. ;)

well the thread started out as a post about an ad that wanted to sell or trade her "model" in for another one. Kind of like a car. It just so happened to be someone that posted here, and it was found out. Then this person has a history of cycling thru dogs at a pretty rapid rate for whatever reason, I don't really care, her life and her dogs live's have been in a lot of turmoil, and its been one dog after the other. Sorry, but I'm not going to feel a whole lot of compassion when its been said that maybe she needs to get her life together and be more stable. Nothing wrong with that, it happens to everyone at some point. then she comes back with every excuse in the book. Sorry, but dog after dog come and gone and then threatens or actually does give this dog to a horrible, nut job, whacked out so called "breeder" of GSD's who has a history of not only here but other places of being a complete liar with almost zero education of how to or what makes the breed she claims to breed, and i'm quite sure she's a candidate to put a shrinks kids thru college. Sorry, this woman has done nothing lately to earn my respect and if you really aren't her or Heather, maybe you should go where they went
