I recently bought a waterer like this one:
Petmate Le Bistro Waterers - Bowls & Feeders - Dog - PetSmart
As I've always wanted one since we have so many animals all drinking out of the same bowl, anyways Kyrie & the cats love it but Regis is really scared of the bubbling noise.

I'm wondering how I can help him not be so afraid of the bubbling sound? I think he's still getting enough water, because I see him drinking from it, however he's SUPER afraid of it and is really cautious while drinking and if it bubbles he runs off, or he waits for Kyrie to drink and drinks at the same time as her, perhaps he feel safer?

Anyways, what can I do? Should I leave a bowl next to it just for Regis? Or is there some way I can help him get over this?

Thanks <3

Maybe go back to turning it off... allow him to get used to drinking out of while it's off... then turn it on in sessions, and click/treat him for getting close/investigating? In other words, I would desensitize him to the fountain itself and then the sounds it makes.

Corgis are so silly, sometimes! I know lots of them with strange phobias and quirks. Fozzie is DEATHLY afraid of the automatic air freshener. When it goes off, he runs and hides under my bed. :/ This is the same dog who sleeps through fireworks, guns, and parties. Weirdo.

I agree with Lizzy, if he stop drinking then you have a problem.

I think he is watching to much animal planet, and believes a crocodile might jump at him. :D
