ive always been a fan of loki, but never wanted to jinx myself by naming any pet bigger than my rat after the god of chaos, mischeif and mayhem.

that being said, my next dogs name is Skye.

Mocha
Missy
Muffin

Okay, okay, I admit I may be biased, but I really do like those names :)

I also like
Mylove (this was the name of my first love, a German Shepherd - I almost chose it for Mocha - but my mom didn't want me to)
Mystic (almost chose it for Missy - but my husband said it sounded more like for a male's name - so we settled for the most feminine name ever: Missy :)
Melody (i like its sweet sound, and almost chose it for Muffin - but I thought the name Muffin fits my little ... Muffin better )
Majestic (is my friend's tiny chihuahua's name. I think it fits her real well :))

Well, I guess I really like the sound of MMMMMMM..

What I will name my dogs will mostly depend on personality and what there name is already when I get them but I like:

Beau (Australian Shepherd)
Sage (Irish setter)
Jax (for a boxer)
Cody (lab)
Luka (any breed, after Luka Kovach (sp?) from ER)
Jack
Jesse
Lex (Lexy if a female)
Max

there are more, I made list once, but I can't remember what they are so I'l probably be back later ;)

Hahahahaha! I thought about that when I was naming Loki, but it worked out to be the opposite. She was an extremely easy puppy.

My favorites:

Loki (obviously)
Remy
Hemi
Toga
Kiba (my cat's name)
Jedi (my Dogo)
Samurai
Ninja

I like names that are just a little bit tough and defiant, without falling so far on the dark side that people say "Yeah, I know why they named that dog that. They want people to be afraid of it." I really like Japanese names, or names with some kind of meaning. And if you couldn't tell from my list, I really like 4-letter, 2-syllable names.

I like very unique names such as Oceano. When I was still a single-dog owner I was convinced that my next Siberian HUsky was going to be named either River, Rain, or Lagu (all names that have a water meaning including Oceano) and then I ended up with Ronan LOL He was already 4 when I got him and since his name isnt a common one anyways I opted not to change it.

I have no idea what I want to name my next dog as it seems like things are up in the air again when it comes to what breed it will be...I know it will be an LGD its just a matter of WHICH LGD....

i think my next dog will be a heidi, or maybe a lex. i want to get a dog for agility, a young femal not too big. because of buster, if they're gonna be living wiht me for the rest of their life i want them to be friends and buster isn't too fond of boys or dogs bigger than him. like he'll manage but he's not really connected to harry.
somehting like a ACD, kelpie, BC or koolie from a rescue next i think
