"People are stupid. "

“Your life is yours and yours alone. Rise up and live it.”

"After that, I came back every year. Everyone said, 'Well, when you retire you can move there.' But I said, 'Why should I live my whole life where I don't want to be.'
Terry Goodkind"

"reach for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars"

**off the bat it sounds corny, I know... but when you think about it... thats what life is about constantly striving to acheive whatever goals you have.**

I don't think it sounds corny at all. I like reading inspirational quotes. Nice little thoughts to think of when you need it.

I finished Confessor a few weeks ago. I love his books. I can't put them down once I pick them up. Wasn't too thrilled about the ending. Not sure if it's because I didn't like the ending or because I didn't want the series to end. Wizard's First Rule and Faith of the Fallen are my favorites by him. I found both story lines to be the most interesting.

Time is too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
But for those who love,
Time is eternity.

It's from a video game but it cracks me up:

"I dreamt I was a moron."

Also, from a different game:

"Only a jackass can save the world."

Eh, I used to know actual quotes, but I lost my quote book.

Ok...internet kicked me out last night, and I never got to post mine. But...better late then never...not sure about the authors on most of these...

-----

We're all a little weird, and life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up in mutual weirdness and call it love.

The police never think it's as funny as you do.

All you need is love.

Dance like no one is watching.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those you matter don't mind.

A wise girl kisses but doesn't love, listens but doesn't believe, and leaves before she is left. -Marilyn Monroe

There's a little truth behind every just kidding, a little curiosty behind every just wondering, a little knowledge behind every I don't know, and a little emotion behind every I don't care.

Instead of focusing on what you're lacking today, look around and notice all the amazing things you do have in your life.

Musicals: because who doesn't want a world where everything breaks out into song and dance?

You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months overanaylzing a situation, trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened. Or you can leave the pieces on the floor and move on.

I read this somewhere (can't remember where) but it fits my life perfectly

'Want to know why my kids and my parents love each other so much?
They have a common enemy .................................................ME!'

'We thank with brief thanksgiving, Whatever gods may be, That no life lives for ever; That dead men rise up never; That even the weariest river, Winds somewhere safe to sea'

We've been running in circles all year, doing this and that and getting nowhere. This will be the last time.. I think I said that last time.

You told me once that forever was just a fairy tale fools tell themselves in the dark.
