...Even though many herding breeds in shows are just depressing to look at. D:

I was happy to see that the Aussie who won group this time was NOT a gigantic fat puffball but actually dog-shaped and in decent condition.

I was happy to see that, too! He was actually a very nice-looking dog. His head didn't look like a Rottie, and his hair wasn't teased and fluffed into an afro! Shocking. The Border Collie didn't have dead eyes, either.

That GSD, on the other hand... *le sigh* My friend asked me if she was crippled. It really looks like she needs a doggy wheelchair of some sort.

I heard the Aussie has agility titles as well. Would have been nice to see a dog take BIS with titles on both ends. Ah well, tis a step in the right direction. I also loved the fact that the Anatolian was a farm dog for years before being a show dog. There were several dogs in both the working and herding groups that they mentioned did a lot of things outside the ring- the newf and either the BMD or the Swissie (can't remember) too.
