Family Inheritance

What are you happy about that you inherited from your parents? What are you not so happy about?

I'm happy that I inherited:
Honesty from getting to witness my parents work and make an honest dollar, stay true to eachother and to us.
My mom's compassion towards those hurting or in need.
My mom's attitude smoothed out by my dad's long fuse.
My mom's analytical thinking.
Both of their senses of humor.
My dad's airheadedness... it makes light of tough situations. Seeing as how I just don't get it sometimes.
My dad's determination.

Not so happy that I inherited:
My mom's health problems. Every problem she has, I end up contracting.
My mom's analytical thinking. (Yes, it's both a plus and a minus.)
My dad's airheadedness... (Ditto)
My dad's stubborness

my dad's patience with computers
my dad's ability to stay calm in a bad situation
my mom's stubborness
my mom and dad's ability to speak proper english *here in oklahoma that's an amazing feat lol*

unhappy:
i can have my mom's attitude
my dad's procrastination

i don'treally know anything physical/medical because i was adopted ^_^;;;

I'm not so much pleased with anything from my dad's side of the family - they are the sort of people you tolerate just because you are related.

My sarcasm and dry sense of humor are completely my mother's (and before her, my grandfather's). I also hope I got his work ethic, and his ability to show kindness towards anyone in a bad situation. Heck, anything I could have gotten from him would be a good thing.

Happy:

My mom's compassion for people truly in need
My dad's sense of pride
My mom's legs
My dad's great hair (not the same color, but same TYPE......my mom's is a poofy head, LOL)
My mom's (and her side) sense of humor (my dad was a stuffed shirt about joksters!)

Not so happy:

My dad's intolerance for STUPID (it would be easier to be able to over look it like my mom)
My mom's procrastination
My grandmother's (dad's mom) freckles

LOL Dizzy. I knew people would think that looking at the title of the thread... But I couldn't think of another name for it. LOL

I love asking things like this. My psych teacher gets us to write journals where she asks us these kinds of questions every week. Interesting stuff!
