I have sensitive skin so I prefer to use Mary Kay... it's the only stuff that really works well with my skin. I've used Bare Minerals and actually prefer the Mary Kay mineral powder over Bare Minerals... just my opinion.

Dangit Dak... too bad you aren't here... I know all kinds of makeup tricks... just ask Sweet, Nolu and 96GTS... I'm sure they've all seen the ways I tend to do my eyes... I love playing with eye colors and different blending styles

ETA: and if you want any Mary Kay... I have a HUGE box of it... with at least $5000 worth of Mary Kay products...
Oh I wish I was there to. I love when people show me new makeup tips/tricks.
And I would LOOOOVE some makeup. hehehe What girl doesn't?

Well... you still have my number right? If you want give me a call and I can let you know what kind of stuff I have. Some of the tips I can probably tell you over the phone. I have a webcam so I can probably hop on that and show you some of the tips too. I use a black eye shadow for my eyeliner instead of using an eyeliner pencil... it's amazing what a major difference that does to my eyes.

Ok I shall call sometime in the near future. lol
And where in the h3ll did you get black eyeshadow? I can't even find any at walmart or anywhere. (I haven't checked online yet.)

I have a question about, do you have a tip for making the lips look big and bolder, but also... sexy/cute?
Because I can never get my lips to look that way but for only about 10 minutes after I apply lipglosses.
I have TONS of lip gloss and a tube of Kohls lipstick (its a pinkish color but not to dark or light).

Thanks again Skittledoody! (lol)

I use eyeshadow as eyeliner, too. I have found black at a few places, but I know for sure Hot Topic has it

Also if you do use liner I do not care for the liquid kind at all but a soft small tipped pencil works good and if you smudge it with your finger or sponge it makes it look more smoky and natural versus a line.

oh also... it is best to apply it with the thinnest brush possible. I use the MAC lip liner brush.. which is "311" (they number all their brushes)

I love MAC powder eyeshadows and their creme eyeliner in Black applied with a very thin-bristled damp brush. If you want creme shadows Benefit are the only ones I have ever found that last and do not crease. Both brands are department store ... Macy's Nordstroms, etc.
If you're looking for drugstore stuff and have sensitive eyes, try Physician's Formula ... very gentle!

Dakotah, by chance do you have blue eyes? (Dunno why ... but for some reason picture you with blue eyes?) If so don't try to match the blue with a blue-ish eye shadow!! It does not enhance the blue ...does the opposite and makes it disappear into the background.

Instead go for a contrast .... I have light blue eyes and wear peach-y colored shadows, light peach-y browns, or peach-y beiges. Those kind of colors really makes the blue POP!

Some I like:

MAC Orb
MAC Malt
Physician's Formula "Terra Minerals" duo
Physician's Formula "Classic Minerals" duo
Physician's Formula "Classic Nudes" quad

Have you tried NARS creme shadows?
Savage is a really nice goldish color... I dont find them to crease throughout the day.

Thanks yall.

I have blue eyes, not light blue but not dark blue either.
I have brown eyeshadows, blue eyeshadows, and some peach-y/cream-y eyeshadows.
Blue eyeshadow brightens my eyes some, browns make them look like the sun is shining on them so they look shiny, and cream-y/peach-y colors make them look amazing.
I am WAY to fond of blue colors, though. LOL

Dak, the black eye shadow that I use is also a MK shadow as that's the only brand I really use. I use a really thin liner brush. I do my liner a little differently to give off that cat eyeliner look that you see on well... cats lol. I use one finger to push my top lashes up against my eye lid and line under the lash. Most people just line on top of the top lashes but I do both under and along the top lash, not right above as that tends to make your eye lids look smaller. I also run a little bit of the eyeliner (using the black eye shadow for all of this) along the bottom of my eye as well. I connect the two lines on the outside of the eyes to finish off that cat eye look.

As for your lips. Here's a trick I've learned. Do you wear any color on your lips? I'm not much for too bold of color on me because well... too much color doesn't look good on me, however; I usually use neutral colors when I do color my lips. Take a liner pencil and line your lips just along the outside of the line. If you have really big lips and want to make them appear smaller then you would line along the inside of your lip line but if you want to make them appear more full then line just along the outside. Then fill in your lip with the lip liner as that will help your lip color to stay on when you apply it. Then apply your lip color. After that you can put on a little gloss and you are set to go.

I've got lots of tips girl... I used to teach skin care classes a little and I've learned a lot of tips and tricks from my friend Devon and her mom.

oh and Nolu, no I didn't put makeup on Ryan hahaha... but now that I think about it... I so wish I did. But he has seen me with my eye makeup done I think...

Borzoi- I can't remember what products you wanted. Let's talk :)

Not long at all... just one bad choice to get a loan... I sell them... or at least I used to sell them. I used to be a consultant, but stopped because as much as I LOVE the products and am good at teaching people how to use them... I didn't like having to seek out people to get them interested in the product... I dunno... just not my cake I'd gather. Anywhoo... just slowly getting rid of all of my inventory at discounted prices these days so that I can finish paying my loan off.

Ohhh to make lips look fuller, I have pouty lips but when I really want them to *pop* I use cinnamon oil. Alot of your lip plumpers contain cinnamon oil anyway so it made more sense to just buy that to me. It can be a bit irritating for some people though so you might to keep that in mind.
