EVO to puppy?

I am so confused. I have 1 adult Ridgeback female and 1 9 month old pup female Ridgeback. They are on Nutro Natural right now. I am switching to Innova but dont know if I should get Innova or Innova ETO. What is the better food? I noticed Innova has a puppy formula. Have anybody noticed any differences in heats after switching?

You don't want to use EVO on a large puppy, because too much protein will make them grow up too fast. Wait until the pup is done growing up before you give him EVO. At this age I was feeding mine the standard adult dry formula, but you can use the large breed puppy food if you prefer.

Basically, lots of research (going on 5 1/2 years now). I'm a pretty scientifically minded person and when I get obsessed with something, I tend to study it in great detail.

It all started when I found out that the majority of products offered by the pet food industry are poor quality garbage disguised by empty, scientific sounding claims.
