She was on Kirkland food before and i switched her to EVO right away since she wasnt eating. Has anyone else experienced a rapid loss of weight while feeding evo? I'm thinking about switching her food. Maybe to the regular Inova?

Sammy lost weight on Evo compared to Innova regular adult. I think with some dogs they don't gain weight / keep weight as easily without the grains/carbs.
He just needed to eat more. I can't remember by how much - maybe I added 1/4 cup per day to what I had been feeding , maybe 1/2 ?

It really depends on the individual needs of the dog.

I've had clients successfully use Evo for both weight loss in obese dogs and weight gain in underweight dogs.

Some do better on foods with a higher carb content, others don't. Generally the high-protein, low-carb foods, if fed properly, are more conductive to building lean muscle mass without a lot of fat.

Mordy, could you provide some examples of high-protein, low-carb foods?

I made the switch to EVO from Blue Buffalo. My dogs ate it immediately...which isn't saying much because they're beagles and beagles will eat anything that smells remotely like food.
