Evidence of psychic powers or coincidence?

I was thinking about my old roommate Rhykky (Ricky) the other day; I haven't heard from her or anything about her since I graduated and moved back here two years ago and I was really wishing I knew of some way to get ahold of her. Lo and behold, the two days later my friend Liz calls me to say that she ran into Rhykky at a local restaurant the night before! And today we went to breakfast and she was our server!! She's doing pretty well; a few more tats and piercings and a baby on the way but alive and kicking.

I've had this happen before as well, and it is so creepy.

When I was in 7th grade, I told my friend Becky that she should go visit her grandmother (who was healthy) rather than go out on a Saturday... anyway, I said, "well, what happens if this is the last time you see her." I don't even know why I said that. Anyway, her grandmother died that Sunday, and my friend ended up skipping her Saturday visit. Becky didn't talk to me for a couple of weeks. I scared myself =/

Stuff like that happens to me all the time. I will get this feeling before I go in a place that I am going to see someone I know, and of course I end up seeing a old friend or teacher from school or someone that I know. I've learned to just expect it! LOL

Stuff always always happens to me...

I'm not sure it's psychic.. Just an ability to read the world around me, but in a way I don't even think about...

Ie - I can always tell who is calling... and calling other people! I usually think about someone/thing before I hear from them/it happens.

I am a sceptic on the paranormal but, I am also swayed by astrology, so maybe I am just a big hypocrite?? And it does make me want to look into things more.

Once I had a dream about a red canoe. Me and a friend were arguing over who should get the canoe, because there was only one red one... I told her about the dream (we went to school together).

A few years pass, and she comes on holiday with me and my family... And we go canoeing... And you guessed it

Halfway down the river, I remembered the dream I had had those years ago, and reminded her about it.... THAT was weird.

Even my ex used to think it was spooky how I could predict things... but again, it is probably just being tuned in to things...

Has always happened to me .... sometimes it's happy..other times sad . The oddest was years ago when we ordered a daybed for our new nursery . I dreamed that it came in turquoise instead of a dusty rose . I started to let the delivery men in and stoppd them half way ...it was turguoise . Was hard to explain that I expected that color but ordered the rose .

You have to wonder with times like those, if we are tapping into the unused part of our brains. They say we only use 10 %... maybe thats because the other 90 would be just too powerful? lol

Oh, I get bizarre things like this happening quite often...can usually predict who's calling before looking at the phone ID...can usually tell if someone has been in my room, even if it doesn't look like anything has been moved.

A few years ago, I was on this streak where if I listened to a certain band (The Stereo), it was almost guaranteed that two or three days later I would run into my friend Dave. One time was I had dropped into a town 40 minutes from where I live and was walking down the street looking for a restaurant, turned the corner and there he was standing! I didn't even know he was in that town...6 months later I did the same thing, only this time he was working at Applebee's here in town and was my server.
