I don't have bad dreams... often. When I do it's usually pertaining to the kids.

Last night wasn't the case.

I dreamed Kona was hit by a car, and she didn't survive.

I woke up balling my eyes out... Rob didn't hear, but I had to get up and find her, and hold her and kiss her and make sure she was okay. Once that was done, I hauled her up into bed with me and went to sleep with her by my side, snuggled under the blankets.

Do you ever have bad dreams about your dog?

I've had a few. One was really an odd one, still had me waking up crying, even if it was weird.
I was walking on the beach with my dogs, and other people were there walking a big huge pig that had a Canadian flag painted on it (I'm Canadian) and the pig walk up to Boomer and ate him whole, with one bite. It was funny after I woke up and realized it was a dream, but it felt real at the moment.LOL

The other one was Kassie went through the chain link fence hole to go fight our neighbors dog. I woke up before anything happened. But after that dream, I went out and bought some privacy slats to cover up the holes.

This is the first time I've ever dreamed of her being hurt.

When I woke up... it seemed so real... that's why I had to go get her. I just had to make 100% sure she was safe and sound.

She knew something was upsetting me. The moment I got her into my arms, she began to snuggle me and lick away my tears.

Yes. Its always about Dekka. Another dog attacks her and I try to save her, I usually get bitten up badly but it never matters as I try to save her at all costs.

Ever since I watched a neighbor hit a 15 year old dog with his car in his driveway, and just got out and walked away (Seriously, he saw the dog but didnt try to avoid him) and went into his house while the dog tried to get up and run home, I have dreams JUST like yours at least like 4 times a week. Im always worried that somehow keely or kacee will get out and people will just not try to avoiid them if they happen to be on the road. :( Its very upsetting. I had one last night.

ANd they are soricken vivid. I can see and remember everything.. Seeing your little dog get hit by a car even in a dream is enough to scar you for life. :(

I had a really bad dream last night. I kept seeing Trey everywhere. No one else could, just me and no one believed me. I'd pet him and tell him he wasn't supposed to be here anymore and he just would show up. Eventually I realized my aunt could see him too as she adored him too. He just kept on following me the entire dream.

I had a dream similarly about Nikki only everyone could see her and no one noticed something was wrong. They kept telling me she hadn't died and she was back but I could tell she was really dead. It was very weird. I was so happy to see her and terrified of her at the same time which is an awful feeling.

Several times a week, sometimes. Maddie can be very protective of me - I dream that a huge dog is chasing me often, biting me, hurting me, but I don't care (other than screaming because it hurts and trying to run away) because I'm trying to keep the dog away from Maddie. Its always the same dog (I can picture the dog perfectly, the only dog I'll ever be afraid of and it doesn't exist lol) and I'm never successful. They always end up in a fight and I'm always getting ate up bad trying to get the dog off of her and I'm never able to get it off before she gets seriously hurt. They are very vivid, real feeling dreams.

I once had a dream that Harley fell off of a roof.. i was standing right up there with him and saw the whole thing. It was absolutely terrifying...I woke up crying but then I saw him on the floor and invited him up into the bed with me to make me feel better.

One very bad and strange dream about Ares...

I dreamed that I had taken him to work with me at a kennel, when I got there, I was late and trying to get inside and he ran away and disappeared. I left him outside and went in to start work, totally ignoring the fact that he was running loose outside somewhere. The odd part was that my sister was supposed to be there also. The next oddity and the bad part was that in the dream, my kennel manager found Ares and brought him in. He looked fine, but as soon as I touched him, his ears fell off...They just sort of crumbled...

This reminds me of another bad dream i had where Harley's snout fell off when i touched it! Its strange to see how common these dreams are.

Before I got Pepper or before we got Nicho, my uncles dog, Buddy, was like "my" dog. I remember I had a dream where I went to there house and he wasn't there and they told me he died.
It was so real, I remember waking up crying.
