I buy my beagle new toys almost every other week... but after one night she loses interest in them. I was wondering if it was ok to let my beagle play with an empty water bottle..... :D

Just make sure he doesn't swallow any part.
Yeah, so you have to take of the cap and the little ring. Try freezing water in the water bottle. And instead of buying a new toy every two weeks, rotate them. That way, she'll think it's a new toy.

Ya I rotate my puppies toys alot so she doesn't get bored of them. And ya again, I use ice cubes as a treat after a while outside in the hot sun. 0 Cals so great for my overweight dog.

Oh, that brings back memories of my Dobe pup. He use to love those plastic, liter bottles. But after a while, he'd start crunching them and when a piece would break off, it was time to throw it out. You do need to sort of watch them with those things. But my goodness, they're so much fun, lots of noise. LOL.

Those were Bimmer's favorite toys when he was a pup! He could entertain himself endlessly with one. I'd take him to the high school track to walk every evening. It's fenced in, and there's a big field in the middle for football practices and soccer, and there were always water bottles laying around! If there weren't many people there I could let him loose and he'd find a bottle, bring it to me to check out, then take it out in the soccer field and throw it in the air, chase it, kill it, kick it all over the place . . .

I had so many toys when I " did " litters. During " play time " 3 times a day . would dump out cans/bottles/emptypaper towel tubes, ropes/ anything that would be fun and stimulating. What a blast to watch 8 to 12 pups go at it !!! One of the favorites was a 2 QT milk container with a few rocks in it and a rope tied to the handle. Of course this is always under a watchful eye !!! I went to a carpet store one and got an empty tube from a carpet roll.. they would play in ,on for hours !!! By the end of playtime, when it was time for quiet hour in their pen, I'd have to dump the roll to slide out the sleeping pups ! Oh! how I miss those days !!!
