Emergency! Help ASAP!

My puppy was chewing on a cotton ball that had finger nail polish remover on it. It had been sitting for about an hour before he got a hold to it. I rinsed his mouth out twice with water. He doesnt smell of it nor does his mouth so I dont think he got a lot if any from the cotton ball. He was playing in the yard, playing with ice cubes, eating and drinking his food and water about 30 minutes after it happened. Will he be ok? Is there something that I should do? I'm at work and he is at home and I am freaking out! PLEASE HELP!

Since it's a relatively small amount, he should be fine but when you get home check him to see if he's behaving and eating/drinking normally. I'm sure he'll be fine. My dog got a hold of one of my mom's water pills - poor dog was peeing like crazy for several days after! Mom was MUCH more careful with her pills...

I am sure he will be fine, rule of thumb though. Watch for behavioural changes and call the vet ASAP if ANYTHING raises your suspitions.

Thanks... I am going to go home on my lunch break and check on him. He is spoiled rotten and people say that they would swear that I gave birth to him! LOL! He's my baby boy! I lost my golden retriever about 5 years ago and it was awful, I can't bear to lose another one especially this soon. He'll be 1 year old October 12th!
