Emailing.... rant

Have you ever emailed a person, just kinda curious to see how they were doing, and you really didnt think they'd actually write you back.. but they do?

I sent an email to a friend asking for a girl's email addy that I was friends with yrs ago and I knew the friend that I sentthe email to, had her email addy but I wasnt expecting her to fwd the email to the girl.. I was expecting her to write back with the girls email addy in her email.. well the girl sends me an email back saying "so and so fwd your email etc" anyway.. I was a little floored that she'd actually write me.. so I wrote her back. Im amzed how out going I am sometimes.. lol

I have no idea.. lol I just didnt think this girl would waste her time emailing me back I guess.

Back in my day , you actually wrote a letter, put it in an envelope , addressed it and put on a stamp. In a few weeks you'd get a letter back . Today I e-mailed a friend in Quebec I had gotten a Christmas card from but I hadn't sent her one. Within 2 hours, we had a nice chat . Just remember... either snail or e-mail , it's polite to answer.
