Oh, I love egg nog! It's usually a bit too rich for me straight, though. I cut it with a little bit of 2% milk and add a dash...or two...or three...of rum. It is wonderful when served with homemade Christmas cookies!

Home made is the best !! Zoom... what did he add as the " lacer" .... I know the store bought has vanilla ... but my recipe substitutes either sherry , rum or brandy .
I was going to buy some the other day, but i resisted...i'd probably drink the whole carton in a day, and then someone would have to roll me out the door, lol

Missbecky , make it for yourself ! 1 egg +2 tsp sugar well beaten ....beat in 1 cup of milk and 1/4 tsp of vanilla . sprinkle lightly with nutmeg . I leave out the vanilla and beat in 1 1/2 tbsp of booze. ( Betty Crocker recipe ).
