just wondering. for those of you who use flea/tick control applications on your dogs; do u buy them online too? i found several good deals and unbeatable prices on ebay.

the only thing i noticed is that it comes in a box that is in thailand because it is shipping from thailand.

has anyone bought their flea and tick control applications on ebay too and know if its really legit and works? it does say K9 Advantix / Frontline Plus, ect.

heres a link for example:

I would not buy any prescription medication off ebay. Not only is it illegal, but there have been some nightmarish cases of fake flea meds entering the market - most with dire results.

would u know where to get online Rx meds online? 1800petmeds.com sells them but its equal to some vet/retail chain stores.

1800petmeds is almost as expensive as the vet because they sell the exact same product. These cheap deals you find on the internet are scams and I would not put any of that stuff on my dog. If it sounds to good to be true,....

I did a lot of research and the reasons that some places sell the same product for less are:

1) They import it from Australia, where people aren't so willing to spend $15/month on flea prevention.

2) Vet's try to make as much money as possible.

I buy mine from here and haven't had any problems at all: http://www.nofleasusa.com/

I would buy from them because the prices are great and the reviews are almost perfect, but I don't like that it ships from Thailand...

I'm going to stick with NoFleasUSA.

I get all my prescription medications from www.kvvet.com - it's actually a veterinary supply company. Ilsa's medication costs me only $9 a month, whereas her vet (who doesn't overcharge) charges $18 for a month's spply.

Update! :D I just recieved my order from deadfleaz.com - the Company is in Australia and is a division of a larger pet supply company. I feel confident in their product and stoked I found them!!!

so wait im confused.

does nofleasusa.com and kvvet.com import these flea controls or are they the exact same ones that are found in vets offices?

these prices are nearly matched; off by 2-3 dollars which i dont mind.

my vet charges $72 for Advantage (6 months + 1 free for 21-55lb) and $100 for Advantage Multi *fleas and heart-worm* (6 months + 1 free for 21-55lbs).
