eating mushrooms

When our yard gets too wet we get mushrooms. Are these dangerous for dogs to eat? I have a 3 lb yorkie. I have been breaking the heads off the mushrooms, but I'm sure I will miss some over the summer.

You really have to know what you are doing b efore eating mushrooms in the wild. Don't let the yorkie into them, just to be on the safe side.

You need to identify what type of "mushrooms" these are to know if they are a real danger. Can you post a pic? And tell us where you live? Then maybe someone can tell you exactly what they are.

I live in the suburbs of St. Paul in Minnesota. I will have to watch as more come up over the weekend to get a picture. We have a fenced in back yard, and they come up in the yard.
