Early Sunday Morning

I had to work late last night playing a music job and didn't get to sleep until 2 AM. Since I walked Smokey in my Tuxedo at 1:40 AM ( bet the neighbors thought that was weird) , I figured I could sleep in this morning. At 7:30 am, my 4 legged alarm clock started whimpering. The usual, " Smokey go back to bed", seemed to work at first after she slammed herself down in her bed with a loud "Phrumph" sound, but I could see her ears sticking straight up like 2 radar antennas sweeping the sky for terrorists. Any tiny sound I made had her back up at the side of my bed doing her whimpering routine and the entire scene played out again.. I finally gave up and next thing you know we are arriving at Lucky Shoals Park for our 3 mile walk

We just got home, Smokey ate her breakfast and is taking a nap...

I am going to take one as soon as I post this message.........

He he, thats funny. My dog wakes me up the second he's sees something outside. He finds it necessary to alert the whole house that a rabbit ran by !
