After reading alot of different posts about dog food. I decided to switch my dogs to Eagle Pack from the Eukenuba I was buying at the vets office.
I have three chihuahuas, the oldest being 9 years old and the youngest being 7 years old. I also have a Golden Retriever who is 11 years old and a Beagle who is only 2 years old.
I bought the Eagle Pack "Senior" for the oldest chihuahua and for the golden Retriever. I also got the Eagle Pack "Natural" for the others.
Does this sound like a good diet? I also feed about a 1/4 cup of chicken in the mornings just for a treat...
I just want to make sure my dogs have a great diet. I'm concerned because the vet said that they needed to be on a special diet because their "kidney count was too high", but then I read here that it's not really the amount of protein, its the quality of the protein. Therefore, I switched to Eagle Pack who makes sure the meat in the food is good quality meat and not all the icky stuff other companies put in...
Anyway, I was just wondering what you all thought. Any suggestions or replys would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!
