Drop ears + wind= !???

These are from March, our first trip to the beach this year- it was a bit breezy!

Old fart carefully picking her way along the rocks

She's preparing for launch!

She's trying to lase me with her eyes

Fat-as-a-tick dog can be off-leash there only because her twigs can't carry her up the rocky beach very fast, nor can she climb the wall to get away

Perhaps she's hard of hearing in her old age?

For being old as dirt, she has surprisingly good muscle tone still

Chaos erupts as you add spaz dog to the photo set

At least my two eventually got the idea

"How in the world did I get up here!?"

Bus has chronically windswept ears- probably 25% of the time, one or the other if flipped back

But they're never like this!

This is their usual state, normal old hound ears

I'm pretty sure he's trying to manipulate me with his mind when he gets this look- and ashamed to admit that sometimes it works!

People always think he's broken because he likes to hold up one front paw while waiting (IM)patiently for something to do

Fatty is totally unused to being on any sort of non-flat surface, or being manipulated in any way- she was not a fan of the big rock!

She has dachshund pattern hairloss, so her ears are bald- perhaps I could glue feathers onto them and try to fly her on the next windy day

Final attempt at a group photo- Bus is thinking if he stares a hole through me a tennis ball might fall out!

Oh my....

Let's see... I have one dog (Bus) poised to launch at me, one (Fatty) riding an immobile boulder like a surfboard, and the other (Old) contemplating leaping to her death

2 out of 3... not bad!
