My dream "pet" is a BIG (say, 500 gallons or more) salt water aquarium. One of the FEW things I miss about Florida is diving. The ocean is so freaking cool.

That would cost a pretty penny.....I had a 65G that I dumped over 2k into...500 gallons would be sick.

yeah I know... That's why it is a DREAM pet. LOL

If I ever go THAT big with a aquarium, it will be a "Amazon" theme. MUCH easier to maintain.

0.o I can't imagine having a 500 gal. aquarium. Biggest I had was a 250 and that was insanely expensive and difficult for me to maintain.

If I had somsone (mebbe the pool guy? LOL) to take care of it, I'd love a massive tank.

My little nano reef I have now takes a lot to keep up with And it's only 10G...But it is so soothing just to look at my little microcosm...they are very thereputic.
