We're spending Christmas on the beach in SC and T-bone is having the time of her life. <3

I know I haven't posted any pictures of her and I haven't been very active... But nonetheless, she is my heart dog and I enjoy each and every day with her so much. She doesn't do anything special, agility, flyball, or obedience.... And she can't do a ton of physical exercises with her leg, but she means the world to me.

Cute little doggy! Love the zonked out momma and baby acquired by sneaky hubby. So endearing!

And you know, I don't encourage people to get pets at Christmas/holidays/birthdays but really it's not about the time of year as much as it's about the type of person. It can work out very well like it did here if the person/family is dedicated.

A client recently told me about how he got his dog and I laughed. It was funny because the dog is now 10 years old so it evidently turned out well. He woke up hung over after St. Patty's day with a puppy in his bed and no idea how it got there! :yikes:

So it's not always a bad thing. But I would like to have a word with the pet store clerk who sold a puppy to a drunk teenager on St. Patty's!

If course, "don't get a dog on Christmas" doesn't apply to us dog professionals on here I also got Josefins on Christmas (well ... Christmas Eve actually) four wonderful years later, she is a happy well loved member of our family. Even though her birthday is oct 1st we also celebrate her "gotcha day" as well
