are you trying to get rid of your puppy? If so, contact a local shelter or hound rescue (if it is a beagle). But why would you be thinking of this, isn't there a better alternative?

No. IM NOT GIVING UP MY PUPPY.
My cousin has a 4 month old pomeranian puppy. She is going on deployment next month. She wants to know where is the best place to go to put a puppy up for adoption. She doesnt have anyone to take care of him while she is gone. She will be gone for 6-9 months.

does anyone know of any places she can go to?

* As much as my puppy drives me crazy, I wouldnt give him up. So yes this part is a joke.

Where are you located??

If you give it to the humane society they WILL sell/adopt it away from your friend.

Try just giving the puppy to a babysitter for a while.

I took care of a friend of the familys lab for 4 months while they were away in England.

Yes MayasMom thanks for the post, I am relieved too to know that there is an organization to help with animals of people being deployed.

I hope your cousin finds a loving home/or temporary home for the pup and is safe overseas.

I wish she had looked ahead before she got the pup. Poor baby's not very old .
