Okay, since I don't have my own dog yet I'm reduced to vicarious satisfaction through the pets of others. I sat with Fifi today over lunchtime.

Fifi is an 8 mo dobe of very nice breeding. She was very well behaved if a little bored with the lack of stuff she could play with in the office.

Sorry about the fuzzy pics, but I took them with a telephone! Go figure.

Dogless, I think Fifi and you are a really fine match. Something to think about, yup.

Dogless, I was dogless for years until last year and now I can't even imagine how I got by as Dogless. Now, I could ship Tosca to you for a visit just to prove to you that Dogless is not for you. She won't require much. Her own room, a flat screen TV tuned to Animal Planet, her own entrance, good food and Duck Toys. When Tosca is done with you, you will no longer be able to stand being Dogless.

:lol-sign: If Tosca will meet me halfway about sharing a room and letting us watch the Sci-fi channel on Friday nights it's a deal.

Awww, Fifi is adorable!

I agree with Tosca's mom; looking back, I don't understand how I was dogless for 2 years. I couldn't imagine being dogless ever again!

Very pretty!

That's a monstrous collar on her though....assuming you can't talk her owners out of using a prong collar, would they at least be open to using the next smallest size of links? They're more effective and won't look like a jesters collar sitting on her.

I'm dogless and I can't stand it! It could easily be 8-12 years before I can get another dog :( . my parents will not foster, and I don't want to actually adopt a new one since I go to college in four years I wanted to foster over the next four. Our only family member with a dog has a small do and I am really a big dog person, plus I want a dog I can train and live with. Fifi is very cute! I was expecting a little fluffy white dog, then you said she is a dobe haha! Why don't you look into getting a dog? It looks like you could even bring him/her to work (unless I'm wrong but I thought you said you were at your office).
