Dogs or Cats?

Are you a dog lover, or a cat lover?

And since many of you likely have the best of both worlds, if you had to choose between one or the other, which would it be?

(hahaha, I'm gonna guess a higher percentage of dog lovers in here.....just a guess.)

Grew up with both on the farm. Had a few cats in my lifetime but would much much rather have a dog or two or three.

I've never had a cat, but I think I'd like to. They seem really strange to me though. I don't really understand them very well.

Was strictley a cat person up till eight years ago. I had a cat that i had for 19 years. After he died my son got Odie, in the pic below, then i got Odo five years ago,He is the black one in the pic below. All i can say now is (((WOW))) whish i had known years ago about dogs, how loving and sweet they are!!!!!!.. From now on dogs rule. Still like cats though, but never will find one like i had.

dogs definetely. We've had 2 cats since we got married and I was allergic to them and they just had such a horrible additude problem.

i currently own one dog and 5 cats.

i'm definiely more of a dog person than a cat person tho, and if i had to choose, it would be dogs hands down. i can live without cats just fine but during the 2 years i didn't have a dog after i moved from germany to the US, i was very depressed.

people always claim that cats are so clean, but i have to clean up after the cats much more than after the dog, and not just because there are 5 of them.

Dogs. I've never owned a cat, so I'm really just attached to slobbery, drooly, furry creatures that think they can sleep in your lap even though they weigh 60 pounds.

Cats don't seem to like me much - there are probably only five cats in this whole world that like me. I know it'd probably be different if I ever own a cat, but right now I can't have a cat.

I have one dog, two cats. I love both kinds, but if I had to choose, guess I would choose a dog!! Remember... dogs have owners, but cats have staff!
