Name all the dogs you had in your past. Childhood or recently departed or whatever.

I have had

Coaline aka Coal our female black Shar Pei who was bought as a puppy not far before I was born.

Zahi our male dalmation gotten while I was a toddler to be a farm dog.

Gabi our female dalmation gotten to keep Zahi company.

Gideon our male apricot mini poodle gotten when I was 5 from my aunt who could no longer care for him.

Sheba a Siberian Husky mix rescued with her son Harley when I was younger.

Duke our male Harli Great dane given to us by a family who couldn't handle him.

All these dogs have sense crossed over the rainbow bridge.

Mishka a Siberian husky who is still around and lives with my dad. She was my 13 birthday present and my first dog that was all mine. My dad took her with him out of bitterness after the divorce. She is not doing too well right now though and she is being tested for cancer.

Baby a cocker spaniel mix was my first dog, but she stayed with my parents when I left for college

Zoe- my beagle. I got her in August 2004 after moving here to go to college. I dont know how I would have made it this far here w/o her.

I was really young when we had those 2 so I don't really remember them. Not really sure where they came from.

Shazbot-samoyed(sp?) collie mix--the best dog in the world. Got her from my Grandma She would walk me to school and wait outside the gate for me to get out. That dog went everywhere with me...she was for sure my best friend. We had to put her down because she had something wrong with her digestive system.

Max-yellow lab/hound goofy dog, but very loyal and protective. Got him in front of a Lucky's grocery store. Passed away after I left for college.
Fletch-husky mix, very sweat boy. Rescue pup Wanted nothing more than to sit next to you. He had stomach cancer and has passed.

My current babies
KC Golden Retreiver got from a breeder, Niko Grt Dane x rescue pup, Shae Husky/Shepard mix got him from an oops litter...all very loving dogs,
Chiana GSD, Dakota Aussie/Rottie mix, both rescue they were my moms I took them after she passed, very loving pups.

Cocoa- She was my first dog, we got her when I was 8, she was such a great friend all through my childhood... I felt so bad when I left home for college and didnt get to see her as much... when I would go home for breaks, she was the first one to meet me at the door- she was always so happy to welcome me home... I lost her in November and she will be sadly missed.
Although my new puppy Elle was able to put a smile on my face again-- I will never forget the love and happiness my first dog gave to me.

zeb a black lab male
daisy a yellow lab female
abby a yellow lab female
agar a black lab male
and a ton of other combos of them becaue my parents bred when I was little and would take some on and off. those were the main ones though. abby didn't die till I was like thirteen or something and they basically gave up breeding around the time I came around.

stooley a small golden mix who was a nervoues wreck and rarely let anyone touch him. we found him curled up in the snow one day close to dead. He warmed up to me and my dad but that was about it. When abby finally died he jsut ran off. My dad said he saw him at someones house in town with another dog. We jsut figured he needed another dog to get by. he was really close to abby and relied on her a lot more than us.

penny a shar pei beagle mix I took out of someones back yard because her mom had gotten hit in the head with a bat and was dying in my frineds yard. We kept her a while and helped with some issues and then some people down the street took her in.

And along the way we have had other dogs for one to two weeks at a time when we would ahve them jsut show up on the porch or find them on the road.

ther ecould be more but I think thats it:p

Pero ... at my birth ... wolf/german shephard mix, Tony --- Irish setter ... Point --1st golden ( 1949)... Chien .. Boxer ( husband's matcho choice ) Chip.. ( 1955 ) ..our start of our own Golden experience .... then the beginning of my line of Goldens : Rufus and Penny, Roxanna,Copperfox, Bambi, Bushwacker,Bear, IB, Bubba and my now Chip. I have been very fortunate to have only been without a dog no longer that 6 months in my entire life. Each was very special in there own way. Yet, Bubba was my heart dog. Probably because he was the only one I really was able to " do " one on one after the kids had left the nest.

smokey- Gsd-not sure where he came from, was aquired before I was born
Joco- Boxer-not sure where he came from, was aquired before I was born

Duke- Afgan mix- first dog I helped "pick out" He was from a litter where the father was an afgan and the mom was a terrier/poodle x. He came from my aunt. Her son (my cousin) was supposed to walk "Dolly" who was in heat. But he got lazy and decided that he would tie her in the back yard. But he had this "BRILLIANT" idea to tie "Cairo" the afgan NEXT to her so he would protect her from the other dogs. He didn't think they would mate because they lived together! I was about 3 or 4yrs old then.

princess -shep mix. my numero uno sweetheart! have never had and prob. never will have another dog like her! *snif* She came from animal shelter

BEn -supposed to be a Belgian shep...I think not. He was super aggressive from the time he was about 2mos old. No one would believe a pup could be so aggressive. He never made it past 3 yrs because he was Dangerous. Something was just not right with that one. My father had him put down. He was terrified he would bite us.

SmokeyII - Husky /shepherd x-what a clown! was payment for a painting my dad did. lived to 10ys

DUkeII ( my dad was not very original with names then!) GSD From BYB- so dysplastic he had to be put down at 6yrs:mad: :( He was a great dog temperament wise.

Teka -Rescued GSD adopted at 4 yrs old -had severe IBD. Managed to control it for 3 yrs then she had to be pts.

Kazan- GSD from Breeder. Great dog still lives with my parents at age 11y

Dibo- GSD that followed me home one day. Tried to find an owner to no avail. I would have kept him but landlord at the time said no. Found him a home. I am sure he has passed on by now.

Hobbit -lab mix?? -adopted from shelter after fostering him for 6wks to recover from leg surgery. What a scardy cat! I could not bear to let him go back to the shelter. I didn't think he could handle it!! He is now about 7ys and is with me now.

Kaia- GSD- adopted at 5mths old from family who did not have time to train her. She is now 9 and still lives with my parents.

Oso - GSD-Adopted from Shelter. He is my work in progress! :)

Honorable mention goes to the numerous foster dogs/pups over the years!

*whew* I think thats everyone!

The three that I have now are my first dogs, I've spent the majority of my life with them though. There is a relative's dog that I was liked, he's gone now :(.

Ekkk! I did forget one. My beagle mixes sister smiley. she was never the healthiest and ended up being pts at around three. I think she might ahve been slightly brain damaged when younger but she was great for a while. She jsut went downhill quickly. She was the cutest dog though.
