Ok, maybe this should be in the food forum but when I was grocery shopping yesterday, I saw in the ice cream section, they had ice cream sandwich's for dogs!

Has anyone ever tried these? Sounds like it could get messy.

I wonder if dogs can get ice cream headaches?

I've never seen the ice-cream sandwhiches but I bought the Frosty Paw treats for Tavish. He likes them :) I'll have to buy the sandwhiches for him.

i make my own "doggy icecream" out of frozen vanilla yoghurt and blueberries, the dogs LOVE them (i freeze them in mini icecube trays lol) but its an in the kitchen/bathroom/outside treat cause it can get messy as they slowly melt lol

One of the ice cream stores around where I live sells doggy ice cream sundays. It's just vanilla soft serve, a milk bone, and doggy sprinkles. We normally get our guys them after the big Sunday show and Agility night during 4H week. I have never an ice cream sandwich but those sunday's are not very messy.

As for the head aches I don't think so. Then again my puppy probably doesnt have anything to freeze up there from the way he acts:D

My old dog loved the Frosty Paws, and Meg likes them as well. I've stopped feeding them after a few people pointed out the ingredients to me. Now I buy Yoghund instead. It smells absolutely amazing, and I'd eat it myself based on the ingredients: organic yogurt, spring water, organic bananas, and organic peanut butter.
