dog vomits?????

we rescued a 2 year old german shepherd from the shelter about 3 months ago she was under weight and although has put some on she is a very fussy eater and it is going very slowly she also vomits often but nothing comes up except bile is this anything to worry about????

i would be concerened. have your vet give her a complete physical exam, may even need to do some bloodwork to see what's going on internally, if anything is out of normal limits.

I would agree. Who knows what she has been through in the past. She could have a compromised system from any number of things. Have a complete blood panel done at least to rule out any organ involvement.

She may need a very specialized diet. It is not normal to vomit bile. It is an indication that something needs to be attended to. Vet time.

What kind of dog food is he on. Might have an allergy. Try Solid Gold or Innova. Best for allergies. I would also put the unflavored Pedialyte in his water. Mix it equal parts. That will help him from getting dehydrated. Gatoraide has too much sugar dont use it. See if he will hold down boiled chicken.

I forgot. Both my Ridgebacks do this when they eat anything with Lamb in it. It took me a couple of different kinds of dog food to figure this out. Innova has no Lamb, Corn or wheat in it.
