Dog Toy Recalls .. Could Cause Serious Injury

Please check out the following link on specified Four Paws dog toys that have been recalled:

It's not the bells in these toys causing choking hazards .. it's much worse. A dogs's tongue got sucked into one of these toys because of a design flaw that caused a dangerous vacuum suction as the dog played with the toy. The dog's name is Chai and he suffered a serious injury that eventually required amputation of most of his tongue. Here's Chai's story:

If anyone's dogs have one of these toys or a toy of similar faulty design, please take them away from the dogs.

Ooops ... sorry for the re-post. Searched the Health forum but didn't think of searching the "General Dog Chat" forum!

Just got this notice in email recently ... right away checked all the dog toys for anything that could cause a vacuum hazard. Never would have thought of that before, even though I'm paranoid about the safety of my pups and kitties!
