Hi all I'm looking after a Rottweiler it's 3 year old female for 2 months (never looked after a dog before).

She seems to be having fun outside chasing bull's ect and she seems pritty tired after but I was wondering what else I can do inside when I'm not around or wanna chill. Basically some simple things for the dog to do food treats or something that dont cost much.

I read above freezing some food so ill try that.

Anything else just simple things.

any help much appreciated.

I'm enjoying looking after her, was unsure at first but damm its easy to really like it so I must do everything possible to make her happy.

The down side is she wakes me up at 6am wanting to play inside other than that she's great.

I take her to differant parks as much as I can places she's never been before so I hope thats a good thing.

cheers jim.

May be you can buy her those balls (Tricky Treats Ball Dog Toys) this should keep the dog bussy when you are not there or want to chill;)

If you are low on $ you can also get a teniss ball make a small hole on it (big enough for the treats to come out but small so the dog has to work for it)and put a few treats and watch how much fun they have. I do this with my dogs all the time. besides dogs love teniss balls anyways so is going to be like a bonus coming out of it ;)

Get another dog. It does wonders when you are lazy and don't want to play. Better yet get two. That way when one is tired it can go pester the other one.

:p

yes balls lol.....although bulls would work to.......if you could find that thread, I did do a search but could'nt find anything....

She's just been going mental trying to pick up the frisbee of the floor (I have wooden floors every where) she could'nt do it as the floors flat just slid everywhere had to be there but made me laugh for 10 mins.

ill try the tennis ball thing although she will have it ripped open within seconds but hay should be a laugh for her.
