I have seen that. Isn't that just awesome! Thanks for showing it again. It just fills me to the brim with appreciation for dogs.

That is absolutely amazing, who ever said that a dog was not man's best friend; oughta read that. They are the best friends anyone could ever ask for.

I love that story that is just awexome. I hope the owners gave the mother a big steak for that. She deserves it. I am also glad the baby is doing fine. And to you h2304 are you always this grumpy? I have just joined and everything I have read from you is so unfriendly. Have you ever said anything nice to anybody or given and good advice. Sorry did not mean to mess this up but this is just so irritating on such a lovely story.

After the incident the dog got a lot of attention from the media with some people putting up offers to adopt it. One good samaritan actually donated a whole year supply of dog food to the dog

The interesting thing is that while everyone was focusing on the dog, nobody remembered the plight of the family who owns it

the owner is separated with the husband and has 6 children. She lives on $2 dollars per day! (not uncommon in east africa) and the children don't go to school

She wondered aloud how come the dog had all the luxuries and yet its owner was barely making a living.

The good thing that came out of this incident is that she got a job as a cleaner and someone decided to pay school fees for the children for 2 years

I guess it all ended well :)
